We froze hosting contract negociations a few months ago, so we could review our strategy and improve our server acquisition process. I won't go into further details on this, but it is important to point out that the several locations we have added recently (Chile, Argentina, Iceland) are the result of a grassroot effort by the players to bring systems online in their country so they could be integrated into the QUAKE LIVE gaming cloud.

We would love to have servers in more locations. Russia? yes. Italy, Israel,Brazil South Africa? sure! We will be able to enter hosting contracts again very soon, but in the meantime we can still setup grassroot systems in new locations. The quality of the network peering can vary widely from one provider to another, and we are in a constant process of assessing the hosting quality of the various solutions we have, and making further hosting choices based on that. The more benchmarks we have the better.

buena onda lo que puse en negrita es que el hecho de que tengamos servers en este momento ,fue porque, nosotros, los que jugamos, rompimos las pelotas para que los vuelvan a subir (dicho con mis palabras, creo que esta bien traducido)

Y si llegan a poner servers en brasil significarian dos cosas: mas poder para latinoamerica (? xD we no se si eso pero en brasil hay buenos jugadores de quake. YYY que los brazucas no caigan a nuestro server xD

Pd: Ttimo no esta mas encargado en la parte desarrolladora de quakelive, no se quien lo remplazo pero se q no se encarga mas.
