The Open Beta test is finally here. This is a short guide on how to play on our server.
Please note that the client is not fully ready. You will not have access to registration or Friends list management at this time.
Requirements:
* Modern Warfare 2 (any version*)
* .NET Framework 3.5
Download details: .NET Framework 3.5 Service pack 1
* VC Redistributable (x86)
Download details: Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86)
Links are below the instructions.
If you have the latest version from Steam (1.1.195):
1. Get “MW2Client-from-New.rar” and “DLC_Maps.rar**”
2. Extract MW2Client-from-New.rar in the root folder
3. Extract “DLC.rar” in your /zone/english folder.
4. Run “alterIWnet_configure.exe” and set your nickname accordingly
5. Start iw4mp.exe and play!
If you have an older version (1.0.159 up to 1.0.184):
1. Get “MW2Client-from-Old.rar” and “DLC_Maps.rar**”
2. Extract “MW2Client-from-Old.rar” in the root directory of the game
3. Extract “DLC.rar” in your /zone/english folder.
4. Run “alterIWnet_configure.exe” and set your nickname accordingly
5. Start iw4mp.exe and play!

si tenes la ultima version del juego que es (1.1.195):
1. bajen “MW2Client-from-New.rar” y “DLC_Maps.rar**”

3. Extraer “DLC.rar” en call of duty modern warfare 2/zone/english

si tenes una version vieja (1.0.159 hasta la 1.0.184):

EDIT: WOW funciona de primera, tiene todas las caracteristicas salvo lo que tiene que ver con steam como los invites obviamente no esta, al principio es muy raro como te selecciona la partida pero lo hace muy bien, ya hay bastante gente jugando chilenos sobre todo y algunos brasucas, la primera que entro y me selecciono de host cuando nunca me pasaba en iwnet

13/05/2010, 12:34Se deben haber avivado con el tema del assasins creed y dben haber codeado algo parecido, igual re bien dsps si tengo ganas reinstalo para ver q onda.
Los que jueguen ahora pueden gastarse 60uss en irse de putas. jajajaj
PD--> Lo que puso juancito sobre la version no es asi, no es q importa 1 sola, es depende q version tengas vos.
