Es muy buena la serie, lástima que sean solo 4 capítulos, pero siendo un fan del género, puedo decir que es de lo mejorcito que ví en muuucho tiempo.

My bad, el 4to era un fake, son 3 en la saga principal, y son demasiado buenos para que lo dejen así, capaz un capítulo mensual o algo así, la verdad, me fascinó.

THE BBC wasted a massive £800,000 on an episode of its new Sherlock Holmes drama that won't be screened.
The pilot was dumped after bosses deemed it wasn't good enough.

It means viewers will NEVER get to see it, despite a huge chunk of their licence fee cash being spent.

An insider admitted: "It must have been a real stinker."

The drama, featuring Benedict Cumberbatch, 34, as Holmes and The Office star Martin Freeman, 38, as his sidekick Dr Watson, will now go ahead without a pilot being shown.

It is expected to air as a three-part series on BBC1 - with a host of alterations.

The insider said: "BBC1 controller Jay Hunt and drama head Ben Stephenson felt the pilot didn't work so ordered the changes.

"The crew couldn't just re-use footage because the series is now totally different.

"The stories are now more intricate and detailed, so they basically had to start again."

The series, made by Doctor Who producer Steven Moffat and League of Gentleman star Mark Gatiss, is set to be screened in July.

Sources said the lost episode could have cost as much as £800,000.

A BBC spokesman said: "As with the rest of the industry, we occasionally use pilots to experiment with the best ways of telling stories.

"As a result of this pilot we commissioned a series of three 90-minute episodes."
