No logre encontrar un post oficial reciente, pero en una rapida busqueda en google comentarios sobre este tema desde el WoW original hasta Cataclysm abundan.

Holy Magic is unique in that it does not have a way to increase your resistance towards it. Every creature has a base chance to resist Holy damage (Se refiere a la baja chance de resistir la habilidad por completo, no a resistir parte del daño), but that is it. There are potions out there that will absorb Holy damage, or reflect it, but there is no way to increase your resistance to it.

Holy resistance does not currently exist as a visible or collectible statistic in World of Warcraft. It only exists against PvE targets of a higher level. The sole means to prevent holy damage are limited to effects that affect all spells, like reduction (e.g. potions) and immunity (e.g. Divine Intervention).
Buffs que dan +resistance a todos las magic schools (Como Gift of the Wild de los Druidas) tambien estan dando resistencia a la escuela holy, esto si estoy entendiendo bien no deberia pasar y esta afectando demasiado al paladin retri.
/Edit: Gemas/Enchants de spells penetration no afectan o ayudan en nada a la hora de pasar esta reduccion.
Y algo mas: Sanctified Retribution
La bonificacion de daño de 3% solo se esta aplicando cuando se esta bajo los efectos de Retribution aura, y no en todas las auras como deberia ser.

Tambien se ve ahi que las resistencias estan mas bug que la mierda, TODOS los daños magicos se vieron reducidos excepto uno, no era al azar el tema?

Las resistencias estan tomando al holy damage por = y muchas cosas
Pero era la primera vez que veo el post acertandole
