On July 1st at 12:01 AM (UTC), new ladder functionality was released and a one time ladder reset was conducted. This reset marks the beginning of an all new Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne ladder season ending September 30th, 2004. The official ladder season rules are available here. In order for you to be eligible to participate in the season-ending tournaments, YOU MUST USE A BATTLE.NET ACCOUNT WITH A VALID, ASSOCIATED EMAIL ADDRESS!

The Season 1 Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne ladder is drawing to an exciting close! The season will end at 4:59 p.m. PDT on September 30, 2004 and will pave the way for the season ending tournaments that will determine the current champions of Battle.net. The top qualifying players will be invited to compete for cash and prizes in both Gateway-specific and the overall Battle.net championships. These tournaments will begin after the completion of the 2004 World Cyber Games in San Francisco to allow participating players time to compete there too. We'll be announcing further details in the days following the official end of the ladder season. Eligible players will be contacted via email. Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne Season One has now officially ended. The Blizzard team is now hard at work verifying the eligibility of the qualified players to ensure a fair and competitive tournament. When this process is completed, eligible players will be contacted by email and invited to participate in our Season One Tournament. Expect this process to take about one week to complete, so keep an eye on those in-boxes! The Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne ladders will not be reset and will remain available for all types of play.

Si mal no recuerdo en las reglas dice q blizzard tiene derecho de resetear el ladder PERO NO ES OBLIGATORIO. osea q lo hacen si se les canta el culo.
