After defeating Maws a world yell will appear stating "The beast returns from whence it came. The wrath of Neptulon has subsided." This is heard in old world and Outlands.

Neptulon could be the mysterious force directly responsible for transformations of the naga, the insidious influence behind Queen Azshara, the recent invasions of murlocs, and other underwater events, including the beached sea creatures at Darkshore and the presence of the Twilight Hammer at Blackfathom Deeps. It is known that the Old Gods were involved in the naga transformation, and Neptulon may have been a conduit for the change.
It is possible that Azshara summoned Neptulon like the Dark Iron dwarves did with Ragnaros, but instead of being killed by Ragnaros like the Dark Irons were, she was commanded to summon Neptulon by the Old Gods.
In a possible "Great Sea Expansion", he could become the underwater equivalent of Ragnaros. However, it is more likely that he, along with Therazane and Al'Akir, are still bound to the Elemental Plane and would most likely appear in an "Elemental Plane Expansion".
Land's End Beach is the most southern point of the Tanaris Desert. [60, 88] It is located at an abandoned piece of coastline which is only reachable by sea. Besides a crashed flying machine (Gazlowe andaba dado vuelta) and some wood sticking out of the sand, there are Giant Surf Gliders that range from 48 to 50, and are quite aggressive. If you look into the distance at the most southernt point, you will see a mysterious island, which you cannot reach by swimming without tricks or someone to help you. This may in fact be an undeveloped Undermine, the goblin city of much importance in lore, although not a factor currently in the game.
