    * Q: When is the release date?
    A: We don't know.

    * Q: Do I have to run the game again to connect to another IP?
    A: Yes and No. The game runs with pre-set server IP from the loader (F9 triggers connection), but you can use a console command to connect elsewhere, for example:
    >> tk_connect_mp 192.168.0.15 28960

    * Q: So, we are getting a console?

    A: Yes, even three. One, called WinConsole is a separate window, second, called DevConsole is a custom overlay console visible in-game. Third one is the original console, but it can be opened only with the .159 build of the game. You can type in commands using all three of them!

    * Q: Why on the videos we don’t see any console being used?
    A: Simple, I was using FRAPS for the video capturing and it doesn’t capture separate windows such as WinConsole.

    * Q: Server-browser?
    A: Yes, final loader will have a server browser with 2 tabs: Online games (internet connection required) and local games (no interned connection required).

    * Q: So Lan will work with this loader?
    A: Yes.

    * Q: Will you actually see all of the servers ran by people using the loader through the web?
    A: No. You will see a list of dedicated servers. Like in Call of Duty 4.

    * Q: Does the list support favourite servers?
    A: Yes.

    * Q: Does the list ping all ip addresses or will there be a master server?
    A: Internet servers are queried through teknogods master server.

    * Q: Dedicated server mode. How is it?
    A: Loader will run the game with super-minimum gfx requirements. WinConsole will be open. Later, loader will automatically execute server.cfg file. Map rotation should work.

    * Q: Remote administration?

    A: Currently we don't develop any remote admin interface. Maybe in the future releases.

    * Q: Will it be possible to host a game for more than 18 players?
    A: The maxplayer could be 32, but I need to test how stable this patch is. If the tests go fine I will put it into the final version.

    * Q: How will we be hosting games? Will it be included in the loader or is that with private match stuff?
    A: You can either run a dedicated server or a private match. In the private match you don't level up.

    * Q: Why is it Steam-less? It will allow pirates to run the game!

    A: Well, two reasons. First one, steam emulation is a key feature which makes it all work. It’s not just optional. Second, with your original Steam, our loader could be detected as a cheat and your account could get banned.

    * Q: So I don't need to install steam?

    A: Yes, you need to install steam.

    * Q: Does it require some authorization to check legit installation?
    A: Yes. You won't be able to play with a nonlegit copy.

    * Q: How does it work?
    A: The loader will check through steam if MW2 is installed on user's account. Binding other games to MW2 like ZeroGear to fool the loader won't work. So that's why you have to install steam on every computer you want to play. On the other hand, dedicated servers do not require steam or legit install at all. It's only for the authorization.

    * Q: Can I bypass this?
    A: Of course. But then you can't play on dedicated servers, not on IWNet and only with other non-legit players.

    * Q: So this means I need internet connection right?
    A: No, it will require steam installation with the game. Steam can be in offline mode, or even not running.
    If you don't have internet access, you can copy the whole steam directory + all the steam related registry keys.

    * Q:If I have a nonlegit copy installed without steam, am I able to play LAN through the Private Match option in the menu?
    A: Yes.

    * Q: Can my friend and me use the same account?
    A: Yes, but you can't play together, only on different servers.

    * Q: If my account gets banned from VAC, am I still able to play on dedicated servers?
    A: Yes.

    * Q: What about our stats?
    A: Loader will ask you for your ‘ID name’ which will be locally assigned to your stats/power-ups etc. Nickname can be set using a different edit box (currently changeable using the console).

    * Q: Do we start from Level 1 or continue?
    A: Continue.

    * Q: If I level up on a dedicated server and then I connect to IWNet Matchmaking, do I also level up in IWNet?

    A: Yes.

    * Q: Can I use my stats on a different computer?
    A: Yes, you just have to install the game on the other computer.

    * Q: What's going to be with the updates? Will they affect the loader somehow, or we'll update files by ourselves?
    A: The updates of the game (through steam) won't affect the loader. You can run it with any version of the game.

    * Q: So it wont be limited to have the same version like the server?
    A: You can not join a server of a different version. The client and server exchange protocol number. If the protocol number doesn't match, the connection to the server will be denied. This means server and client must have the same version!

    * Q: Will we be able to connect to normal steam games (IWNet) if we are using the loader?
    A: No. You cannot play with steamed users on IWNet. You don't need the loader to play on IWnet.

    * Q: What size will the download be?
    A: We're not replacing any of the original files. The release is just a loader with the loader DLL. It shouldn't be more than 3 mb.

    * Q: Will there be a way to communticate with friends through steam (Shift+Tab) while in game?
    A: No. Steam chatting won't work.

    * Q: But does In-Game Chat and Voice chat through the game still work?
    A: Yes. In-Game chat works while match is active (but not in the lobby) and voice chat works in the lobby and during the match. We're not adding any chat capabilities.

    * Q: Why is it taking so long? It's a simple fix!
    A: It's not. It's taking so long because a lot of code is wrapped around Steam. Also, We are trying to make it as generic as possible, so it works on future updates.

    * Q: Can you release source code so we can help you?
    A: No, there are three reasons:
    1. Some of the code we write, relies on internal interfaces of the game; hence if the game developer knows what we do, it will be easier to alter the interfaces (which are not external API) and force us to rewrite the code.
    2. Open source code must be licensed somehow. We have proprietary code which we don't want to share and some of the code cannot be even licensed.
    3. Making the project open source may allow the project to be used as a platform to pirate MW2 and maybe other games as well.

    Y como es eso q si te banea podes seguir jugando? ademas como queres ir a la version 59, tendrias q desactualizar, y eso como se hace?

    te creas una nueva cuenta. lo instalas al juego con esa cuenta y actualizas hasta esa version. cara de naipe.
