    Re: Wowers Lolers!

Keep a red elixer with you. It's a heal that isn't stopped by ignite, etc. Counters karthus ulty, morde, and tower dives.
See the green/black dots next to a champ's portrait? If it's green, their ulty is up.
Melee Minions take 2 tower hits and 1-2 auto attacks. Casters take 1 tower hit and 2-3 auto attacks.
If you have an ability that allows you to move to an ally (Lee Sin, Katarina, Jax) carry a ward with you. You can pop it over a wall and hop to it to get away or chase.
Try to learn to get a feel for a champion's cooldowns. If you know that Vlad's pool's cooldown is 14 seconds at max level, closer to 10 with blue buff, you know there is a 10-14 second window when he can't get away.
Roughly 2.5 minion waves equals a kill. If it would cause you to miss out on 4 minion waves for your kill? You lost the fight. As far as you are concerned, he won unless it gave your team a notable advantage. Secondary benefits factor in, but remember this as a rule of thumb.
If you are getting stomped by a champion and feel like you can't counter him, pick him up when he's free and play a few games. Learn how people stomp you.
Know when to let your team die. If you can save him and both of you can get away, good. Otherwise, suck up the loss and keep running.
If you tower dive two enemies alone, and get one kill, then die, you lost. You gained 300 gold. Your enemy gained 300 gold plus 210.
When you get a kill 70% of the gold total for the kill is put in a pot and spread across those who got assists. Edit: It's 53%, so a pool 175, not 70%. My information was off.
A great way to improve preformance in the game is to do a few exercises after each game. Even just 10 pushups (man of lady pushups based on physique) for a win and 20 for a loss will get your blood flowing and increase reflexes for the next game.
Don't play mad. Angry players play fast and lose and are more likely to take risks that they shouldn't take. If you are on a losing streak and keep losing? You are going to keep losing until you get lucky and get carried. Just step back, do something you enjoy or that mellows you out, then come back.
Likewise, don't rage at your teammates. They'll get angry and start playing fast and lose trying to prove they don't suck, and thus suck more.
Compliment good plays in games, it does wonders for team morale. Even just "Nicely done"
Learn to adapt your build based on your enemies. If top fed Morde, you should be at least grabbing an early negatron cloak or you are feeding Morde just as if you were charging him under the tower for hugs.
Stop relying on MIAs. If you die to a gank and nobody said MIA, it's your fault for not watching your map, not his for not saying MIA.
Call MIA when you can. It's still nice to do.
Small jungle camps have a 1 minute respawn, blue and red have a 5 minute respawn, dragon has a 6 minute respawn, baron is 7 minutes.
After killing big buff/dragon/baron look at the time add 5/6/7 minutes and type in chat "Blue/Red/Dragon/Baron up at (predicted time)
Don't gank a lane that has too little mana/health to help you out. That's called feeding the enemy.
If somebody is losing their lane and raging, gank for them on low priority. Most likely they are already angry enough that the advantage from the gank will be lost quickly due to a bad gamble. (See tip 12)
It doesn't matter if he insulted you first. You aren't 12. "Well he called me a noob first" doesn't hold water. Suck it up, play with the team even if you don't like somebody. This is doubly hard as a support, but still do it.
In Champ Select if you look at the first picker's names you'll see "Team 1" and "Team 2" The color behind this is your team's color.
On blue side, red is bot. On purple side, blue is bot.
Keep track of enemy ults that can be interupted with CC and save your hard CC for such situations. Don't trust your allies to do it. Katarina will use her ult, don't spend your CC locking down Trynd if you know she hasn't ulted.
When you can, type and ping. If you ping, all I know is that one of 4 people is pinging and that ping could mean one of half a dozen things.
When playing Cho'Gath, use your ulty on minions until you have 6 stacks.
Everybody buys wards. The only one who can get away with not doing it is ranged AD early game. A support with 2 wards get's a ward every 1 minutes and 15 seconds. That means roughly 2 wards active at a time, not counting assists.
If support, starting with a pink ward and 2 green wards is not a bad idea. Dropping pink ward in the bush often times can allow you to blind your opponent.
Pay attention to the enemy jungler if support. You probably don't need to ward the river at 2 minutes if the enemy is jungle malphite. It can wait until 4:30
If the enemy team is MIA, that's a bad time to push.
If you are losing against the enemy team, look for a stragler or somebody who has broken away, kill them, then push hard as a group.
If you need to blue pill, push the wave to the enemy tower before doing so.
Learn to counter pick. Every champion has a weakness, learn it. If that champion wrecks you? Learn to play their kryptonite in lane.
If you play partial pre-mades and use skype, still type to the rest of your team.
As a rule of thumb, especially early to mid game, when you push the to the enemy's tower, kill their creeps before attacking the tower. Every CS counts and the tower will go down eventually.
If you just killed an enemy and everybody is up on your side mid game or later, that's a free dragon or baron. They can't take a 4v5
Keep track of enemy flash cooldowns and post them in chat. It's especially helpful for your jungler.
Press S to stop moving. Helps with last hitting.
If you have somebody on your team backdooring, don't try to help them. Champs like Yi and Sivir will take off away from the enemy when they show up and leave you to die.
When trying to backdoor, drop a ward in the enemy jungle or in another relevant place to see the enemy coming.
When playing a tank it can be a good idea to buy chain vest and a negatron cloak and then build them into something more sturdy to get you about 45 of both armor and MR early game.
