Formula del bite y stats

El daño del bite, luego del fix, quedo sin tomar nada del RAP del hunter.

La formula deberia ser :

Bite the enemy, causing [168 + (RAP * 0.40) *0.20] damage.

Actualmente, a dummies, el daño del bite anda entre 60 y 90 (A la noche de ser necesario posteo las screens correspondientes, pero es bastante evidente la falta de daño)

La formula anterior no tiene en cuenta distintos talentos tanto de la rama BM, como de la pet en si, por lo que el daño de la formula vendria a ser el "minimo".

Dejando de lado el bite, la pet sigue sin tomar ciertos stats del hunter:

Pets receive attribute bonuses at 15% of their master's/mistress' stats:

1 ranged attack power gives the pet 0.22 AP and 0.1287 spell damage (0.338 AP and 0.18 spell damage with 2/2 Wild Hunt).
1 stamina gives 0.4 stamina untalented (erroneously reported as 0.3 stamina in the Hunter's stamina tooltip), or 0.63 stamina with 2/2 Wild Hunt). Hunter pets do not gain any health from their base stamina, and gain 10.5 health for each additional point of stamina (10 health per additional stamina before the inherent pet health bonus, which was standardized to 5% in Patch 3.1.0).
1 resistance gives 0.4 resistance.
1 armor gives 0.35 armor.
1 point of spell penetration gives 1 point of spell penetration to your pet.[2]
1 point of resilience gives 1 point of resilience rating to your pet as of Patch 3.3.0. Previously, it was 0.4 points of resilience per 1 point.[3]

Estos stats los esta tomando bien. Aun asi, la pet sigue sin tomar el hit rating del hunter.

Aparte de todo esto, el daño de la pet no esta variando segun la happiness

Happy: 125% damage
Content: 100% damage
Unhappy: 75% damage

Estas usando la formula de cataclysm, esa no es la formula de los basic attack. oldwowhead es cata 4.0.3.

esto tampoco Patch 3.3.0 (2009-12-08): Hunter pets now have 100% of their master's resilience; increased from 40%.

Edit: esto ya lo habia puesto, pero ahi esta detallado.

Buscaste mal, 8% del RAP es cataclysm, tiene cooldown el bite, si con eso no es obvio no se con que mas.

Para la resilience, pidan q doteen la pet usando resilience y despues set pve, yo la testee en s7 y andaba al 100% de scaling.

Sin screens no prueban q no ande.

Che, y si pones de donde sacas tus formulas?

Busque patch notes que hayan modificado el bite y no encontre. El ultimo cambio que tuvo fue el CD

Patch changes

WotLK Patch 3.0.2 (2008-10-14):

Bite now has no cooldown, does the same damage and costs the same Focus as Claw, so works as a Focus dump.
Every hunter pet can learn either Bite or Claw (never both).

Patch 1.2.0 (2004-12-18): Bite tooltip now lists the damage that is dealt when the pet is content. Actual damage is unchanged.

Como es una wiki podes ver cuando se editaron por ultima vez, una pista, wotlk.

el scaling es 7% del melee attack power de la pet.


Te veo con ganas de testear, pasate por aca y retoma esto.

El problema va a ser el daño naranja cuando rata ponga scaling de pet en vez de scaling de hunter.

Lo que si encontre fue : Damaging pet abilities scale with the pet's melee attack power or bonus spell damage. Physical abilities generally gain bonus damage equal to 7% of the pet's melee attack power, while spell abilities generally gain bonus damage equal to 1/3 of the pet's bonus spell damage. Pero no dice nada especifico.

Y en cuanto a los edits, yo ya lo aclare. El ultimo cambio del bite fue en

Acabo de testear resi, al menos el damage reduction anda. Ahi edito

Sabes la cantidad de cosas que no aparecen en las patch notes?

Sobre el "generalmente", si vamos a discutir semantica mostrame donde dice "generalmente...." y luego " a veces toman attack power del hunter en vez de la pet, porque somos re locos en blizzard"

Las excepciones son los bleeds, que toman menos, o tienen un coeficiente diferente por dejar dots.
