Just a little fun fact I'd like to state, you don't have to agree with me if you don't want to. This will be a long read and worth reading for any DBZ fan. Also I this is not even halve of what i can explain on this topic but i'll try to keep it brief. I get annoyed when people say that Power Levels in Dragonball Z are meaningless just because a website like Screwattack says it is. They aren't the creators of the series. I'm sorry but Akira Toriyama put power levels in the series for a reason. Power levels are actually pretty accurate at the time and no don't believe anyone when they tell you power levels are meaningless because the bad guys were a certain power level and didnt know Goku's true power level. DBZ characters can hide their true power and revile it when they power up to show their true power to the enemy at which point the enemy knows they were screwed over for example the Ginyo force vs Goku. Akira Toriyama also stopped using power levels after the Frieza saga not because they were meaningless but it was too no point to having it seeing how their power levels just grow exponentially after the Frieza Saga. Only person that can truly say if power levels are meaningless is Akira Toriyama and nobody else. Why else would he even include it in the series then?

The sun weighs about 333,000 times as much as Earth. Piccolo destroys moon with casual ki blast at power level 300+. Saiyan Saga Vegeta threatens to destroy earth. This only proven via power scaling. Moon is 1/80 the mass of the earth. Vegeta at pl 18000 so he can plow up Earth. Base form frieza destroys planet Vegeta a planet 10 times bigger than earth with ease. Also Remember Frieza base form power level isn't even 1% of his true Power as stated in the manga and anime. Also was proven by Akira Toriyama that the final power levels stated were Frieza 100% had 140 million PL, SSJ Goku had 150 million PL.

So where am I going with this you may ask? Well let me explain. So the sun weighs about 333,000 times as much as Earth, lets say it took Saiyan Saga Vegeta all his power at 18,000 PL to blow up earth. Lets do the math and find out what it really takes to Blow up the sun. It takes about a power level of 5.994 Billion to blow up the sun. With Goku's power increases over the many years of training in Dragonball Z up till the end of DBZ where he's a SSJ3 he can blow up the sun. I wont get to details about what SSJ3 Goku's power level is caus it take me forever to explain but I'd say his power level vs Kid Buu would be around 798 Billion PL easily destroying the sun about a 133 times over. I'm also not taking into account the new Dragonball Z Battle of Gods movie where the God of Destruction Bill's sole purpose in the Universe is to destroy planets and stars so Whis can reform new ones to help keep the balance of the Universe. Also Bills has an attack where he creates a star to throw at Goku as an attack.

So who cares that they can blow up a start right? Well without starting a flame war on here I'm just going to say this. What would be more powerful? A person that can easily destroy a star or a person that can absorb a little bit of the stars power for a power increase? How much of a power increase can that really be absorbing some of the stars energy? Its physically impossible for that to be more powerful than the amount of force it takes to blow up the star. Anyone that knows the laws of physics can tell you this. So what does that mean? Yes you all are thinking it, a being like Goku who can Blow up the sun a hundred times over can take out Superman a being that increases his power buy absorbing some of the suns power. Checkmate. Mwuhahahahaha!

Even if power levels are meaningless The God of Destruction Bills has a attack where he literally forms a star and throws it at Goku which he launches a Kamehameha at to stop it.

Does this mean the men in the video are configuring the world’s first VR simulation? Is Snake inside the simulation to help him combat post-traumatic stress after his car crash? It would explain all of the freaky stuff we’ve seen in the initial Phantom Pain trailer.

Now then, what does this all mean?

Well, as Dragon quite rightly points out, the military base seen in the first Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes trailer was called Camp Omega, so there’s your first common thread. The morse code at the end of the text simply reads “?” when translated.

Second, note the medical and psychological report at the end. In the first Phantom Pain trailer, we see what looks like Snake suffering a car crash, which presumably leaves him badly injured, hence the clip largely taking place in a hospital.

There’s also talk of “Psychological stress”, which would explain all the mad images in the hospital, of white petals – a nod to The Boss in MGS3 – images of giant flaming whales, the bosses horse, Volgin on fire, and what appears to be The Sorrow or Psycho Mantis floating in the background.

The text also says, “VR PROGRAM: PHANTOM_PAIN.MME”, so could the events in The Phantom pain trailer just be a VR training exercise to help Snake battle the post-traumatic stress suffered in battle? The rumoured 1970s-80s setting may render that technically impossible, but with Kojima – sorry, Joakim – anything’s possible, right?
