Ahi los primeros 35, el listado completo esta ACA,. Y algunas opiniones:
Sirve para darse una idea de lo que piensa esta publicación mega popular. Tiene muy buenas selecciones (genios como Bob Dylan y Miles Davis colocados en lugares que les hagan justicia) y otras no tanto (¿Nevermind en #17? ¿En serio? ¡Hay una banda llamada Pixies!).
The Beatles figura incesantemente y gran parte de su discografía está presente. The Velvet Underground también tiene un buen lugar. Pero hay cosas difíciles de explicar, como por ejemplo, ¿U2 arriba de Led Zeppelin? Dios.
No se cuales sean sus parámetros exactos pero para mi una lista en la que Pink Floyd figura hasta el #43 y Radiohead está por arriba del #100 está ignorando la relevancia de obras que no sólo permanecen vigentes si no que cambiaron la historia para siempre.
Personalmente no dudo de la importancia de la mayoría de estos discos que deberían estar en cualquier buena discografía que se precie, aunque yo los reordenaría haciendo escalar puestos a The Velvet Underground and Nico y me parece un poco excesivo colocar tres de The Beatles entre los cinco primeros y ninguno de The Rolling Stones.
Por otra parte, imperdonable el que no aparezcan entre los 25 primeros “The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars” de David Bowie, “Closer” de Joy Division o “Songs of Leonard Cohen” de Leonard Cohen, quien (Dios mío) no aparece en toda la lista.
Y ese puesto número 17 para el “Nevermind” de Nirvana, ¿no os parece muy exagerado?.
Nunca se deja contento a nadie con estas listas.
