As time goes by, more and more ISP's start doing what is known as "Traffic Shaping". As WoW continues to get even a larger size of the mmo market, they started targeting to block connections of it, making the game unbearable at peak times. From a normal latency of 120-200 that I had in the end of 2008, I can now get(and im not exaggerating) 12340 ms (I think thats the highest it can go).
So you might wonder what connection do I have, but I can guarantee thats not the reason. MANY reports have been made, but no one has ever replied a solution, not blizzard, not anyone. The only "solution" so far, is using a VPN, programs like (HSS) hotspot shield, but not the answer for players OUTSIDE the US, since even though it DOES get better,(400-600ms other than 12k ms)its still TOO much.
The true reason of this e-mail, is to find out whether WoW/Blizzard will ever provide an "encrypted" connection // some sort of localized VPN for diferent servers, or if they are gonna stay indiferet.

At this time there are no plans for that but you can always post on the forums for it. Please be aware that Blizzard just provides the address to connect to where the ISP is responsible for the connection and we have no control over what they do.

Si esta imposible de jugar hoy, pero pregunte por el guild y casi todos andan con lag asi que me parece que cuando hay muchos players online el emu ayuda un poco tambien, no es solo fiberchota.

me fui a Arnet, en mayo me deshabilitan el servicio de fiberlag
y además voy a tener 3 megas, no 1...

tenes q mandar un mail a [email protected] con todos los datos q te piden entre el 1º y el 15 de un mes, luego de eso espera a q te respondan (en mi caso una hora como mucho) y te hacen llenar un formulario para confirmar q qres la baja, cuando le das aceptar obviamente te tiran repromos para q te qdes, pero sino aceptas y listo a partir del próximo mes no tenes más el servicio, o sea, si das la baja ahora en abril en los días correspodientes, tenes q pagar abril y en mayo te desconectan.

es lo peor fibertel, te tardan 1 hora en contestar ( segun dijo uno ), cuando decis q lo vas a dar de baja, pero cuando pedis servicio tecnico tardan un monton, encima q las conexiones en arg van en decadencia, x lo menos uan de las companias mas grande de arg no te da pelota, y encima en juegos te da problemas
